Dear Sir/Madam,

I've got your email address while browsing the internet regarding Filipino organizations that we have in Italy. Currently
I am here in Fano, Italy(between Pesaro and Ancona) working for an Italian Engineering company for more than 2
months now and I will be staying here up to the end of July 2005.If it's not a burden to you I would like to ask for a
little information in case you have it regarding some Filipinos that are currently working in these areas (including areas
in Rimini, Ravenna which is near to my place) so I can contact them. As I mentioned that I've been here for more than 2
months now but have never seen any single Pinoy around here.My mobile no. is +39-3393203160 and if you have their
telephone nos. that I can call them and perhaps meet them personally. I will be grateful enoguh if you can ba able to
give an information regarding this matter.I have tried contacting our attache on this matter but received no response
from them.Anyway maraming salamat na lamang sa inyo in case you can give me some information.

dear kababayans in italy,

Two days ago i got a letter from the International Geological Congress (IGC)that my abstract submitted
was approved for oral presentation. The 32nd IGC will be held in Florence on August 20-28 this year.I have been presenting in international conferences but i always got to grips with the funding. in 1997,thankfully UP Diliman gave me $ 1200 for me to presentin Hawaii. I was able to get some funding for my airfare in Australia (2000) and Canada (2003) but as for the accommodations, filipino families were the ones who housed me; an awesome expression of filipino
hospitality indeed.now, i am in the same situation. i know i would be able to get some funding for the registration fee and airfare but as for the accommodation i would like to solicit your help if there are filipinos in florence who are willing to provide accommodations for me at a very minimal fee for the duration of the congress.it saddens me at times to realize that i'm not getting the support that i should be getting from the government. the government should be the one to shoulder all my expenses. but as it has always been the case, i am the one soliciting here and there only
to give our country a representation in the international scene. unfortunately, i'm not a rich man-- was just a "iskolar ng bayan" form UP Diliman.hope you could help me find filipinos in florence italy who would be willing to house me and give me an orientation of the city. this is, after all, my firsttime in europe.HOpe to hear from you some time.

Ang pamilya namin ay gusto magcelebrate ng 70th birthday ng aking nanay, sa Monteroni D'Arbia malapit sa Siena. Kailangan ko lamang sana ng tulong niyo dahil naghahanap kami ng taong makakatulong sa sound sytem DJ, lights, Karaoke w projection screen, etc para masaya ang party. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
I'm Juanito L. Velasco I am currently jobless. My previous job was a factory worker in Korea. However my contract
was ended which forced me to come home.As you know, my country is suffering from enormous crisis which is
characterized by a high unemployment rate. It is for the reason that I venture to find employment opportunities in foreign land. It is impossible to meet the needs of my family even if I work hard here in the Philippines. By surfing the
internet I saw this pinoyitalia.com maybe you can help me find an employer.I applied for an Italian visa from
a travel agency that promised me an employment in Italy even it cost me a huge amount of money. In fact
I even used all my savings gained from my previous employment in order to avail the promised job opportunity in Italy.
Unfortunately the agency failed to provide me a promised job, instead they just gave a me tourist visa and said that
just going to church in Rome I will find an employer which is not easy to do,that why I'm asking your kindness to assist
to me or maybe you had a friend that can help me or just tell me where to go to find a job. I hope you understand my
situation since I'm a holder of an Italian visa. Your assistance and kindness will enable me and my familiy to survive in a
long term and even my relative who also depending on me. Your help would go a long way in my family survival.
